The idea of building the school was initiated by the Parish Priest of Holy Family Parish Tunduma, FR. VITUS VICTORY KASUNGA at the beginning of the year 2013

The foundation stone for the launching of the schoo building the school of Mt. Karolo Boromeo was officaly launched on 30/07/2014 by the Bishop of Sumbawanga Diocese, Most Rev. Beatus C. Urassa.

The school was inaugurated officialy and start to offer education service on 07.01.2019, the official inauguration wa done on 27.07.2019 under the Vice-Bishop father Modestus Katonto of the Sumbawanga Diocese on the behalf of his grace Bishop Beatus C. Urassa
