A Wild Adventure Begins

After our educational visit to Matema Beach Secondary School, our students were excited to continue their Kyela adventure with a visit to Ifisi Zoo. This wildlife sanctuary provided an incredible opportunity for our students to encounter various animals up close while learning about wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting Tanzania's diverse ecosystems.

Ifisi Zoo, located in the beautiful Lake Nyassa region, serves as both an educational facility and a conservation center, offering visitors the chance to learn about African wildlife while supporting conservation efforts. Our students were about to embark on an unforgettable journey through the animal kingdom, meeting creatures they had only seen in books or on television.

The King of the Jungle

One of the most thrilling encounters at Ifisi Zoo was meeting the lion, often called the "king of the jungle." Our students were mesmerized by this magnificent predator, observing its powerful presence and regal demeanor.
